American Idol - Cowells Make-up Trick
AMERICAN IDOL judge SIMON COWELL used to plaster his face in his mother's make-up when he was a kid - in order to get days off school.
The music mogul admits he always hated school and went to extreme lengths in order to stay at home.
Cowell used to fool his parents into thinking he was sick by covering himself in a pale foundation and pretending to be ill.
He says, "I didn't like school so I had a trick - I would put my mother's white make-up on.
"I'd get a cup of tea, put it on my head and tell my parents, 'Not feeling well, feel my temperature.'"

She dismissed reports, however, that she will be starring in a production of 'Grease', saying: "I couldn't see me in the skinny Lycra pants. Maybe 10 years ago, but not now."
Patrick Swayze - Swayzes Point Break Set For Sequel
PATRICK SWAYZE could be set for a return to the big screen - as surfer movie POINT BREAK is set to be revived in a sequel.
A follow-up to the 1991 film, which also starred Keanu Reeves, is reported to be in the pipeline - and Swayze could reprise his role, health permitting.
The sequel is due to be shot in Singapore and Indonesia, and is set 20 years after the disappearance of Swayze's character Bodhi, reports British newspaper The Sun.
The cast for the movie is as yet unconfirmed.
Earlier this year (08), Swazye confirmed he was suffering from pancreatic cancer.
